Our Leader

Apostle Kelly is a licensed and ordained minister with 25 years of ministerial experience who currently serves as Senior Pastor/Founder of the Greater Destiny Bible Church of East Chicago, Indiana; a ministry that has grown in just 16 years to its present location and he was elevated to the office of Apostle February 2019. He is the middle son of Dr. Edward L. Williams and the late Theresa Harris Williams and is married to Mrs. Jeanine Williams, affectionately known as Lady J. Apostle Kelly and Lady J share three wonderful children: Javecia, Trey and Kelly Jr. Apostle Williams’ ministerial emphasis is praise and worship, preaching and teaching, discipleship training, outreach ministry and evangelism. His special love for children has helped him to spark many outreach endeavors geared toward reaching the youth. One of these is the W.O.W. ministry, which works as the community outreach arm of the ministry in bridging the gap between community and schools and puts on an annual back-to-school rally/fest called WOW Fest.

In March 2015, Apostle Williams took his first missionary journey to Cape Town, South Africa with his spiritual mentor Apostle Joseph Stanford. His ministerial accomplishments are numerous and he obtained his high school diploma from Bishop Noll Institute and has plans to finish his collegiate degree in Human Services/Counseling. Apostle Kelly’s favorite scripture is: “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.” 1 John 4:4
